Individual Offerings

In the spirit of Zen tradition, the Dharma is offered freely -- without a set fee -- because it cannot truly be bought or sold. However, we gratefully accept donations to support the continuation of our practice, space, and community.

To access any of the offerings below, please email lani@zendowithoutwalls.org to schedule an appointment.

Introduction to Zen Buddhist Meditation

In this session, we’ll explore the foundations of Zen meditation (zazen) in a simple, approachable way. You’ll learn how to sit with stability and ease, how to work with the breath, and how to gently return to the present moment when the mind wanders. We’ll also discuss common challenges and offer guidance on building a personal practice. There will be time for questions, shared reflection, and a short guided period of seated meditation.

Meeting with Sean-sensei

Often dokusan (private interview) is quick and to the point. This is an opportunity to meet with Sean-sensei to have a deeper conversation about your life and your practice.

Meet with a Zen Priestess

A meeting with a Zen priest(ess) is a simple, sincere encounter rooted in the spirit of presence and connection. It is not a formal ceremony or therapy session -- but rather a chance to engage person-to-person within the context of life and practice.
